Security IT Specialist
Job Description

We want you to:

•    Design and manage DMZ architectures, network segmentation, and Network Access Control (NAC) systems within physical data centers.
•    Establish and enforce security hardening standards across bare-metal servers, enterprise operating systems (Linux Enterprise, Windows Server), and databases.
•    Configure, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade perimeter technologies including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, WAF, and VPNs.
•    Ensure network access security through protocols and technologies such as AAA, ACL, DHCP Snooping, Port Security, and IPsec.
•    Conduct regular internal vulnerability scans, and coordinate the seamless deployment of critical security patches across enterprise servers.
•    Utilize network management tools such as NTP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, and SSH.
•    Manage and monitor WAF, Web and Email Security, and Endpoint Security systems.
•    Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise Antivirus (EPP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) platforms across all corporate servers and workstations.
•    Design, implement, and enforce strict access control policies and authentication mechanisms for all on-premise servers and database environments
•    Manage and configure enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to prevent unauthorized sharing or leaking of sensitive company data and files. 
•    Maintain and manage the company’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliance, policies, and documentation.
•    Lead and coordinate preparations for both internal and external information security audits.
•    Perform regular vulnerability scans using Nessus and other security tools to identify weaknesses in internal infrastructure.

You will also need to have:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
•    Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in security administration or a related role.
•    Palo Alto / Fortigate certification is preferred.
•    Strong understanding security systems and technologies.
•    Experience with network security tools and practices.
•    Proficient in managing wireless networks and NAC systems.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong verbal and written communication abilities both in English and Turkish.
•    Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset.
•    Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
