CoP (Conformity of Production) Test & Laboratory Engineer
Job Description

We want you to:

  • Plan and coordinate Conformity of Production (CoP) testing activities for mass production vehicles
  • Manage and follow up Market Surveillance (MS) and Emission Surveillance (ES) testing activities
  • Organize vehicle selection, preparation, shipment, and logistics for regulatory testing
  • Coordinate testing activities with internal departments, external laboratories, technical services, and authorities
  • Conduct and monitor routine CoP tests such as emissions, noise level, braking performance, E-mark verification, and other regulatory compliance tests
  • Manage laboratory activities related to Salt Spray, Heat Cycle, Abrasion, Corrosion Resistance, and Environmental Durability testing
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports
  • Investigate test failures and coordinate corrective actions with related departments
  • Ensure testing activities are conducted in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits, inspections, and certification activities related to CoP and laboratory operations
  • Monitor testing capacity, equipment status, and calibration activities
  • Prepare testing plans and provide technical support for new vehicle projects
  • Maintain laboratory documentation and contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Track regulatory testing requirements and support compliance activities for new and existing vehicle projects

You will also need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive testing, laboratory operations, quality assurance, or homologation activities
  • Knowledge of Conformity of Production (CoP), Market Surveillance (MS), and regulatory compliance processes
  • Experience in vehicle, component, or material testing & calibration activities
  • Familiarity with environmental and durability tests such as Salt Spray, Heat Cycle, Abrasion, Corrosion Resistance, and Climatic Tests
  • Knowledge of automotive regulations and testing & calibration standards
  • Ability to evaluate technical test results and prepare reports
  • Experience in coordination with external laboratories and technical service providers
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001); ISO 17025 knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Completed military service or exempt (for male candidates)
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kocaeli
