Job Description

Role Summary:

As the Sales Business Planning Specialist (m/w/d), you provide timely, quality-focused business analysis and support business stakeholders and project managers in driving successful project delivery. You identify improvement initiatives, propose practical solutions, and manage their implementation across the business. With a strong understanding of business needs, opportunities, and risks, you prepare and communicate feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, and impact analyses. You also support work estimation, planning, reporting, and status updates to ensure analytical activities are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and business priorities.

We want you to:

  • Contribute to the development of the annual and monthly Sales Business Plan across markets and models, including production, shipment, wholesale, retail, and stock planning
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment and decision-making with manufacturing plants, NSCs, HQ, and internal stakeholders (Sales Operations, Product Planning)
  • Support the development of mid-term (10-year) sales planning frameworks, ensuring alignment with product strategy and evolving market demand
  • Consolidate and maintain market-level sales forecasts across models and powertrain types, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
  • Act as a coordination interface between Sales Operations and Product Planning on key commercial and product-related topics
  • Contribute to the definition and consolidation of KPIs across HME and NSCs, ensuring alignment with HQ and top management requirements
  • Prepare and deliver structured analyses, reports, and presentations to support decision-making and communication with senior stakeholders

About you:

  • University Degree (Bachelor/MBA etc.)
  • +4 years of experience in a position requiring data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and good business judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of automotive sales planning cycles and planning architecture (annual, mid-term, monthly cascades)
  • Understanding of OEM sales structure and interfaces between HQ, regional headquarters, NSCs, and manufacturing plants
  • Knowledge of vehicle lifecycle planning and its impact on production, allocation, and market supply
  • Understanding of supply–demand balancing mechanisms in automotive distribution systems
  • Knowledge of market allocation principles and wholesale-to-retail flow logic in multi-market environments
  • Results-driven mindset with strong prioritization, deadline management, and ownership of deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements and implement practical solutions
  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate, influence, and adapt across different stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, with solid understanding of operational sales planning across production, shipment, wholesale, retail, and stock
