Role Summary:

As the Sales Business Planning Intern (m/w/d) , you will support the Business Management and Strategy team with sales planning, reporting, forecasting, and market analysis. You will help collect, validate, and organize key sales and market data while contributing to planning files, dashboards, and management presentations. This temporary internship provides exposure to European automotive industry trends, future product planning, and cross-functional sales operations.

We want you to:

• Support the preparation of annual, monthly, and ad hoc sales planning reports.
• Collect and validate market sales, shipment, wholesale, retail, and stock data.
• Maintain planning files and dashboards used for sales forecasting and business reviews.
• Prepare presentations for management meetings and planning discussions.
• Research automotive industry developments, customer trends, and competitor activities.
• Support the development and maintenance of long-term sales planning assumptions and forecasts.
• Gather and organize data relating to future product plans, market demand, and powertrain trends.
• Coordinate activities between Sales Operations, Product Planning, and local markets.
• Contribute to team projects and process improvement initiatives.

About you:

• Hold a university degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrate advanced data analysis and reporting skills.
• Work confidently with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Communicate clearly and manage complex situations effectively.
• Apply strong research and information-gathering capabilities.
• Understand operational planning across supply, shipment, wholesale, retail, and stock management.
• Bring an interest in or knowledge of European automotive industry trends, including electrification.
• Ideally have knowledge of the automotive product planning cycle.
• Have limited or no previous professional experience, with up to three months of experience suitable for the role.
