Job Description

Role Summary:

As the Technical Trainer (m/w/d), you deliver engaging technical training and contribute to the design and continuous improvement of training programs that support Hyundai Motor Europe’s Global Learner Journey. Working closely with internal and market stakeholders, you ensure consistent capability development, high-quality training delivery, and effective knowledge transfer across markets.

We want you to:

  • Deliver engaging and effective technical training in line with Hyundai Motor Europe training standards and Trainer Accreditation methodology.
  • Deploy technical Train‑the‑Trainer programs to support learner‑journey objectives and ensure consistent capability development across markets.
  • Contribute to training design by developing, localizing, and continuously refining technical training materials, curricula, and learner journeys.
  • Assesse internal and external participants against Global Learner Journey standards, ensuring consistent evaluation and competency alignment.
  • Identify, coordinate, and prioritize required resources to support training delivery plans and ensure operational readiness.
  • Liaise with market stakeholders prior to training delivery to confirm preparedness and secure all logistical and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure the quality, relevance, and consistency of training delivery to effectively support Learner Journey outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key technical training stakeholders, including the Technical Training Manager, market training representatives, global Technical Training Development teams, and Hyundai Motor Europe–appointed agencies and partners.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering OEM technical training, including involvement in training design and curriculum/content development (e.g., creating learning materials, adapting content for different markets, supporting learner journeys).
  • Strong automotive and electrical knowledge, including diagnostic processes; recognized automotive qualification and High Voltage Certification are advantageous.
  • Trainer certification or industry-recognized accreditation is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft 365, Authorware Synthesis, and Articulate.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-market collaboration is desirable.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong ownership, excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong prioritization skills, a passion for learning and coaching, and willingness to travel as required.
