Purpose of the Job
Role Summary:
As our new Sales & Data Specialist (m/w/d), you transform complex market, industry, and sales data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and commercial performance improvements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, National Sales Companies, and Global HQ, you strengthen reporting capabilities, increase transparency, and help optimize sales performance across European markets.
We want you to:
- Establish and maintain structured reporting processes for Hyundai Motor Europe and Global HQ stakeholders
- Analyze industry demand, market developments, and sales performance using internal and external data sources
- Develop insightful reports and dashboards that provide visibility into market trends, customer demand, and competitive dynamics
- Act as Product Owner for reporting solutions and drive the development of dynamic reporting frameworks in Tableau (Salesforce)
- Monitor and evaluate incentive programs and identify their impact on customer demand and sales performance
- Conduct competitor and market analysis across channels, segments, and product portfolios to identify opportunities and risks
- Consolidate complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations for management and market discussions
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Pricing, IT, and National Sales Companies to ensure data quality, reporting consistency, and alignment on key business insights
- Support bilateral market reviews by providing fact-based analysis to challenge assumptions and strengthen decision-making
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting standards, sales analytics, and performance visibility across Europe
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Planning, or a related analytical role
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience in reporting, performance analysis, and business intelligence environments
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Tableau (Salesforce) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of automotive industry KPIs, including sales performance, incentives, and market dynamics
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources to support strategic decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and international markets
- Structured, detail-oriented, and highly reliable with a strong ownership mentality
- Resilient and performance-oriented, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
