Purpose of the Job

Engage in promoting or creating an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations. May write or select material for release to various communications media.

Role Summary:

As our new Manager Communications Events (m/w/d), you own the end-to-end planning and execution of all communication events – from static premieres to dynamic test drives and large-scale corporate formats. You translate communication strategy into impactful live and digital experiences, ensuring consistent brand storytelling, flawless execution, and measurable impact.

We want you to:

  • Own and deliver all communication events on European level, including press conferences, media drives, trade shows, and corporate events
  • Develop and approve event concepts, timelines, budgets, and execution plans
  • Translate communication strategy into compelling event formats and narratives across static and dynamic environments
  • Manage the full event lifecycle, from concept development to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Coordinate agencies, suppliers, and production partners to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Act as the central interface between Communications, Brand Experience, Product, and external partners
  • Lead press conference execution at trade shows including booth integration concepts, vehicle presentation, and on-site production
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards across all event formats
  • Support stakeholder engagement through tailored event formats and communication materials
  • Contribute to the development of the event roadmap and continuous improvement of event formats and processes

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience in event communications, brand experience, or PR, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Proven track record in leading complex event projects across Europe (e.g. trade shows, media events, press conferences)
  • Strong experience working with agencies, production partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of brand experience in physical spaces, including booth design and vehicle presentation
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a strong sense for brand and narrative
  • Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
