Role Summary:

Genesis is redefining the premium mobility experience across Europe. To accelerate our growth, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Product Planning to join the European Product and Product Director Office (PDO). In this strategic, high‑visibility role, you will be responsible for shaping product strategy, optimizing performance, and steering key programs across the European Genesis product portfolio.

We want you to:

Reporting to the VP of Product & Product Directors Office (PDO) for Europe, you will lead the development and execution of the Genesis Europe Product Strategy. You will translate strategic goals into clear, actionable programs that enhance business performance and drive measurable impact. You will shape mid‑ to long‑term product business cases that support growth, profitability, and innovation across the region. In addition, you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across product, finance, sales, and executive teams, both regionally and globally to understand priorities, influence decision‑making, and create the alignment needed to deliver successful execution.

 

  • Lead Product Management for Genesis within the Product and Product Director Office Europe, ensuring that product and sales strategies are fully aligned with the company’s mid‑term profit commitments.
  • Monitor performance across the entire European Genesis portfolio, providing strategic recommendations to maximize profit improvement opportunities across all model lines.
  • Act as the Voice of the Europe Product Team, advising leaderships on product performance to ensure alignment with product planning, profitability, and total‑delivered‑cost (TdC) targets.
  • Lead the formulation of both short‑term and long‑term product strategies, integrating consolidated profitability perspectives into all planning activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and technology advancements to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic direction.
  • Validate business cases for advanced products and services to support sound investment decisions.
  • Monitor external factors, including regulatory and governmental changes, and recommend timely actions to mitigate risks or leverage new opportunities.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of program milestones, proactively managing cross‑functional alignment, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support executive decision-making with insights and recommendations related to profit issues and improvement measures.
  • Support mid-term plan (MTP) forecast of company-wide profitability, aligned with vehicle consolidated operational profit and profit improvement activities committed at each milestone.
  • Support company’s business plan (BP) to align with vehicle consolidated operational profit committed at milestone and model year

About you:

To qualify, you will possess a minimum of 15 years progressive experience within Product, PDO or related functions. With a strong strategic mindset, you will have a proven track record in successfully developing and executing product strategies. You will have the ability to anticipate future trends and translate them into effective product strategies at a European level.
