Purpose of the Job

Generate information to be used in inventory management of various items and volumes of materials. Rely on surveys of consumption data, the available stocks, and planning of the activities to generate information, targeting the analysis of materials turnover and the enhanced planning of purchases and stocks needed.

Role Summary:

As Fleet Planner (m/w/d) at Hyundai Connected Mobility, you oversee the complete vehicle lifecycle—from sourcing and fleet planning to maintenance, compliance, and disposal—while driving operational excellence and maximizing fleet performance. Working closely with suppliers, mobility partners, and internal stakeholders, you ensure reliable fleet operations that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

We want you to:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of fleet vehicles, including sourcing, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and disposal
  • Develop fleet planning strategies to optimize utilization, operational efficiency, and total cost of ownership
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with vehicle suppliers, insurance providers, roadside assistance partners, and mobility service providers
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and vehicle recovery to maximize fleet availability and safety
  • Oversee vehicle registration, licensing, regulatory compliance, and operational documentation across the fleet
  • Plan and optimize vehicle allocation, transportation schedules, and operational workflows to support business requirements
  • Monitor fleet performance through KPIs, utilization analysis, maintenance reporting, and financial performance metrics
  • Review and validate fleet-related invoices, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives across fleet operations and processes
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless fleet management and supplier performance
  • Support workforce planning, onboarding, and coordination of fleet personnel and operational representatives where requiredred

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Fleet Operations, Fleet Planning, or Fleet Management within a rental, leasing, mobility, or automotive environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of fleet operations, vehicle lifecycle management, and mobility services
  • Knowledge of transportation planning, fleet management systems, and operational reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, basic vehicle mechanics, and the ability to assess repair requirements
  • Knowledge of the French automotive regulatory framework and recreational vehicle (RV) management is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational and financial data to support decision-making
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across international teams and external partners
  • Financial awareness with experience monitoring budgets, invoices, and total cost of ownership
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with fleet management and transportation scheduling software is highly desirable
