Distributor Country Manager (m/w/d)
Job Description

Role Summary:

As a Distributor Country Manager (m/w/d) for Hyundai Motor Europe, you will act as a key business partner for assigned markets, coordinating cross-functional processes to optimize sales operations, market performance, and mid- to long-term growth plans. 

We want you to:

  • Serve as the primary contact and business counterpart for high level stakeholders within assigned markets. 
  • Ensure alignment with regional sales strategies, commercial policies, and annual targets.
  • Steer markets effectively to achieve monthly and annual KPIs including Orders, Wholesale and Retail Sales targets, CO2 targets, and profit margins. 
  • Proactively manage daily sales operations, including production orders shipments, stock levels, sales progress, and CO₂ performance, steering through any foreseen complications or setbacks. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess performance, identify risks/opportunities, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of each market’s business environment to support and lead annual negotiations and achieve Business Plan objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally internally and externally to secure wholesale and retail targets across markets, performing market analysis to support annual business plans and budgeting. 
  • Develop mid-term and long-term business plans considering market potential, future product range, and strategic growth opportunities. 
  • Optimize sales operations processed in collaboration with global and regional stakeholders. 

About you:

  • Qualified Degree in Business, Finance, or Equivalent
  • 7+ years post-graduate experience with 5+ years in Automotive Sales or Business Planning
  • Strong understanding of the European Automotive market 
  • Experience managing relationships from OEM perspective (dealer management, distributor management, etc)
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and influencing decision making
  • Understanding of automotive commercial policies
  • Strong in sales analytics and data management (Salesforce, Microsoft Excel)
