Purpose of the Job
Role Summary:
As our Direct Sales Expert (m/w/d), you optimize sales performance, customer conversion, and retention strategies while ensuring a seamless customer journey from lead generation to subscription. Acting as the bridge between Sales, Operations, CRM, and Product teams, you turn commercial strategy into measurable business results.
We want you to:
- Own the commercial performance of direct sales channels, including B2C, SME, and telemarketing activities
- Drive customer retention initiatives and develop strategies to reduce voluntary churn and improve customer lifetime value
- Analyze sales funnel performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, and customer experience
- Design and implement onboarding, enablement, and training programs for external sales agents and partners
- Develop sales scripts, objection-handling frameworks, and sales enablement materials to improve sales effectiveness
- Create and optimize incentive and commission structures that drive performance and business outcomes
- Act as the product expert for Hyundai Connected Mobility offerings, sales programs, and incentive schemes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, CRM, and Product teams to identify and remove sales barriers
- Develop stakeholder reporting and performance dashboards related to sales, retention, and customer experience
- Lead regional projects aimed at improving sales processes, customer journeys, and commercial performance
- Support commercial partnerships and initiatives that generate new sales opportunities and customer acquisition channels
About you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in automotive sales, customer experience, or commercial performance roles
- Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, digital customer journeys, and incentive structures
- Experience managing high-velocity sales environments and scaling commercial initiatives
- Proven expertise in sales performance management, KPI development, and customer retention programs
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in sales reporting, performance analysis, and business case evaluation
- Experience designing incentive and commission models that drive measurable performance improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills across international environments
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills with a strong commercial mindset
- Results-oriented, resilient, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
- Fluent in English; French, Italian, or Spanish are advantageous
