Compliance Manager (m/w/d)
Job Description

Role Summary:

As the Compliance Manager (m/w/d), you will support the Head of Compliance in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the Compliance Management System across HME, GME and their European subsidiaries.

We want you to:

  • Draft, review, implement and continuously update compliance policies, procedures and control frameworks for HME, GME and their European subsidiaries, covering areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, supply chain compliance, anti-money laundering, sanctions and other applicable legal or regulatory requirements (excluding data protection).
  • Assess business activities and company practices against compliance risks, recommending and supporting the implementation of corrective actions, process improvements and additional control measures where needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for HME, GME and their European subsidiaries on Compliance Management System matters, supporting the rollout of policies and procedures, providing guidance and clarification, and monitoring compliance standards across entities.
  • Manage and oversee the compliance platform and whistleblowing system, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues, monitor corrective actions and, where appointed, conduct compliance investigations.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance training and awareness activities to employees of HME, GME and their European subsidiaries.
  • Communicate, implement and monitor compliance-related processes, policies and systems, ensuring their effective application and ongoing alignment with applicable laws, regulations and internal standards.

About you:

  • University degree in Law or a related field
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in compliance or a related area of specialization
  • Fluent English; proficiency in an additional European language is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and AI tools
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, cost control and delivery
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present convincing arguments
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborative, adaptable and self-aware, with a high level of integrity, confidentiality and reliability
