Purpose of the Job

Play a key role in defining the market position of a product or brand, within the context of the overall product strategy, by conducting competitor analysis and market research, working with the sales team, and driving marketing initiatives to support product or brand awareness and sales. In addition to taking the product to market, this role ensures that the product meets the needs of the market and that data and research gained in the marketplace shape future product direction. Articulate the product and feature benefits and translate them into customer messaging. Give product demonstrations at trade shows and in webinars, deliver presentations, and create marketing collateral. Support bringing the product to market, driving adoption and equipping the sales team with the knowledge and tools to be successful.

Role Summary:

As our new Media & Campaign Activation Expert (m/w/d), you manage media planning operations, support digital media projects, and ensure effective campaign localization across European markets. Working closely with markets, agencies, and internal stakeholders, you help optimize campaign performance, improve media effectiveness, and strengthen Hyundai’s digital marketing capabilities.

We want you to:

  • Manage daily media planning operations and support digital media projects across European markets
  • Coordinate campaign activation, localization, and reporting processes with markets and media agencies
  • Review and validate local media plans to ensure alignment with brand and business objectives
  • Monitor campaign implementation and optimize performance across digital and offline media channels
  • Support data-driven marketing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of media effectiveness
  • Analyze campaign performance, media metrics, and customer journey insights to derive actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate budget tracking and reporting processes with markets and agency partners
  • Support localization and content activation review processes in collaboration with campaign managers and agencies
  • Benchmark market best practices, identify optimization opportunities, and monitor media trends and competitive developments
  • Act as a key contact for media agency partners and support cross-functional communication across teams and stakeholders
  • Support presentations, workshops, reporting, and ad hoc management requests

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Media, Economics, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in media planning, digital media, or campaign operations within an agency or in-house environment
  • Strong expertise in digital media channels, including Programmatic Advertising and Paid Search
  • Solid understanding of media metrics, campaign performance measurement, and digital customer journeys
  • Experience working with digital advertising and analytics tools such as GA360, DMP, CDP, or DSP solutions
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and affinity for numbers
  • Experience in budget management, reporting, and multi-market stakeholder coordination
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
