Role Summary:
Reporting to the President, Hyundai Motor France (HMF), you will devise and execute HMF’s marketing and PR strategy, leading the strategic vision in collaboration with European colleagues and directing cross functional teams to deliver world class programs that bring the Hyundai brand to life. As a member of the HMF executive team, you will be directly accountable for Marketing, Brand and PR performance - and therefore for the overall commercial performance of HMF.
We want you to:
- Set the direction for Marketing and PR as a core member of the HMF Executive Leadership team, translating strategy into measurable business results
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated Marketing and PR strategy to deliver HMF's short, mid and long-term volume, market share and profitability objectives.
- Develop and implement the local brand strategy in alignment with European guidelines to strengthen brand opinion, increase preference and build long-term brand equity.
- Develop and continuously optimize holistic performance marketing capabilities to drive growth, revenue and marketing effectiveness.
- Provide strategic oversight of the Genesis brand activities in France in close collaboration with European stakeholders
- Lead digital customer acquisition, CRM and customer lifecycle initiatives to maximize conversion, retention and lifetime value
- Drive a customer-centric marketing strategy across the full customer journey, from awareness to ownership, increasing loyalty and advocacy.
- Set the PR agenda and corporate communication strategy to reflect Hyundai’s ambitions and reinforce Hyundai’s reputation, credibility and thought leadership among customers, media and key stakeholders.
- Partner with European Teams to develop and implement best-in class Marketing and PR programs that are consistent, locally relevant, bold and differentiated
- Build strong partnership and operational excellence with the in-house agency and strategic partners to drive innovation, marketing excellence, performance and long-term brand growth
- Drive innovation, emerging technologies and new customer experiences to strengthen market differentiation
- Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for sales financing offers, working closely with CRM and captive finance partners to accelerate conversion and deepen customer loyalty.
- Represent the French market within EU and Global forums, actively influencing future brand, customer and marketing strategies
- Grow a high performing marketing organization as deliberately as you grow the brand through coaching, mentoring and talent development in a culture that’s open, energizing, fluid and highly enjoyable.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field with a Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in Marketing and PR, within the automotive sector or comparable sector.
- Demonstrable successes in developing and executing Marketing, Brand and PR strategies that have achieved measurable growth.
- Proven track record in brand building, combined with a strong understanding of how to drive consideration, conversion and revenue.
- Proven success orchestrating media, digital, PR and experiential platforms into integrated campaigns that drive both brand impact and business results.
- Strong, long lasting media relationships across automotive, business and social media and the capability to leverage these within an existing ecosystem across France, Europe and beyond.
- Strong leadership with the ability to build consensus without losing momentum.
- Outstanding analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into robust business decisions.
- A skilled negotiator, able to influence stakeholders at every level – global, regional and market.
- Exceptional communication skills in French and English.
