About the job

In this role you will lead the Product and Pricing function for Hyundai Motor Sweden, ensuring a competitive, compliant, and commercially effective product portfolio throughout the full vehicle lifecycle. The role is responsible for managing product strategy, pricing administration, model logic, specification alignment, and continuous improvement of Product and Pricing processes to support business objectives, dealer performance, and customer relevance in the Swedish market. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured market, competitor, and customer analysis to support the development of a competitive Hyundai model portfolio and commercially robust pricing and campaign strategy for the Swedish market.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Hyundai dealers on product and pricing matters, providing clear guidance, timely support, and accurate information to enable effective operations.
  • Manage, interpret, and distribute product information from Hyundai Motor Europe, ensuring accurate local adaptation, internal alignment, and effective execution of the product strategy.
  • Maintain and process product, pricing, specification, and lifecycle data across Excel and relevant internal systems, ensuring high data quality and operational reliability.
  • Plan and deliver dealer training activities, product briefings, and new model launch preparations in close coordination with Sales, Marketing, and relevant business functions.
  • Ensure product and specification management is aligned with applicable Swedish automotive regulations, homologation requirements, and internal compliance standards.
  • Drive close cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Hyundai Motor Europe to align product strategy, pricing actions, launch priorities, and commercial targets.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and follow up on daily activities within the Product and Pricing department to ensure efficient execution, process discipline, and timely delivery of business-critical tasks. 

Required education, experience, and skills

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience in business administration, economics, engineering, product management, pricing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in product management, pricing, product planning, sales planning, or a comparable commercial role, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of automotive product lifecycle management, model structure, specifications, pricing logic, and market positioning.
  • Advanced analytical capability, with proven experience working with large volumes of product, pricing, specification, and market data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with relevant business, reporting, or product data systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent administrative discipline, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable information across multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage professionally with Hyundai dealers, internal functions, and Hyundai Motor Europe.
  • Knowledge of Swedish automotive regulations, homologation requirements, taxation, and market-specific product compliance is considered an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.
