Job Description

Role Summary:

As the LCV Business & Channel Strategy Manager (m/w/d), you will drive the analysis, processing, and communication of strategic insights and tactical recommendations to improve sales force effectiveness and productivity. You will ensure the right tools, processes, and performance measures are in place to support the sales team, while aligning brand strategies with sales force execution and identifying potential gaps, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

We want you to:

  • Define and implement channel strategies that maximize market coverage and optimize dealer and distribution networks across Europe
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for LCV fleet sales across European markets, focusing on key segments such as corporate, government, and large business customers
  • Build and manage relationships with key fleet customers, leasing companies, and channel partners to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities in the LCV fleet and channel space
  • Establish and monitor sales targets for the fleet and channel segments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure the successful execution of fleet and channel strategies

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in sales strategy, business development, or sales management, preferably within the automotive industry and with a focus on Light Commercial Vehicles.
  • Sufficient knowledge in a technical, scientific, or specialised field, built on an understanding of theoretical concepts, principles, and their context, acquired through professional or academic qualification or extensive practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of the European fleet market, including key customer segments and industry trends.
  • Proven experience in managing dealer networks and optimizing sales channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM, fleet management software, and other relevant tools.
