Warranty Unit Lead
Job Description

We want you to:

  • Guide warranty team executively in parallel with After Sales Group’s targets
  • Make performance management of the team effectively and prepare career plans for the team members
  • Ensure domestic warranty operation’s compatibility with Hyundai’s Global Warranty Policy
  • Follow governmental & legal regulations / obligations, and customer requirements closely, and make sure company’s warranty applications are coherent with them
  • Analyze warranty claims and perform data analysis
  • Lead dealer warranty audits and complete evaluations of the audits on time
  • Monitor annual warranty budget, goodwill budget and main warranty KPIs (CPU, CPVS, etc.) closely
  • Monitor and manage domestic warranty labor rate regularly
  • Develop ideas to reduce warranty cost and put them in practice
  • Control warranty part collection and scrap center operation
  • Collaborate with technical team to find out technic service bulletins and coordinate warranty actions to be taken if necessary     
  • Prepare frequent department presentations to report top management
  • Manage and report quarter based dealer warranty premium process

You will also need to have:

  • At least bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years experience, preferably in/for Automotive OEMs in Technical/Warranty roles
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with attitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels globally
  • Competent in problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and reporting for the quality platforms
  • Traveling flexibility both overseas and in Turkey
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications (especially Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Customer-focused personality
  • Being competent about governmental & legal regulations / obligations such as 6502-law on customer protection, TS 12047-after sales services regulation etc.
