Warranty Engineer
Job Description

We want you to:

  • Manage domestic and export markets' warranty claim process
  • Drive dealer and distributor warranty invoices and payments
  • Follow Technical Warranty Bulletins and applying and monitoring campaigns
  • Contribute domestic and export markets dealer warranty audits
  • Apply and reporting dealer digital warranty audits
  • Prepare regular warranty reports by using MS Office skills and present them to the top management
  • Calculate and follow up department KPIs (CPU, UIO, Approval Rate etc.)
  • Train dealer warranty specialists to support them for getting certified
  • Maintain warranty conditions on DMS (Dealer Management System) and GWMS (Global Warranty Management System)
  • Manage plant return process with relevant production plants (HMC, HMMC, HMTR etc.)
  • Contact with HMC and HME for necessary inquiries
  • Follow up warranty conditions of competitors in domestic market (Labor rate, terms and conditions etc.)
  • Contribute onsite dealer visits, online meetings (Field problems, improvements etc.)

You will also need to have:

  • At least bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent university fields
  • Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in/for Automotive OEMs in Technical/Warranty roles
  • Proficient oral and written skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and reporting for the quality platforms
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications (especially Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Customer-focused personality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with attitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels globally
  • Competent in problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Traveling flexibility both overseas and in Turkey
