Role Summary:
We’re looking for a new colleague to join our relaxed four-member accounting team, where mutual support and a positive atmosphere really matter. We want you to:
- Daily processing of bank statements
- Preparation of payment orders (regularly twice a week + ad hoc)
- Posting of supplier/customer invoices
- Posting of received credit notes
- Intrastat reporting
- Month-end closing activities (accruals, internal expenses, recharges)
- Statistical reporting
- Monthly processing of receivables and payables, proposals for mutual offsets
- Holiday cover – fixed assets, VAT
- Cooperation in implementing legislative changes in tax and accounting
- Participation in process optimization and efficiency improvement projects
- Close collaboration and communication within the finance team and with other departments
- Annual archiving and shredding of documents
About you:
- University degree in economics
- At least 5 years of experience as an accountant
- Excellent command of the Czech language (spoken and written) is a must
- Thorough knowledge of Czech accounting standards and tax regulations
- English language skills at B2 level (communicative)
- Attention to detail, reliability, logical thinking, good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel skills are an advantage)
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
