We are looking to recruit a dynamic and solution driven Incentive & Contribution Margin Analyst. This is more than an ordinary Analyst role – you will work in collaboration with Product, Supply and Finance teams to analyse Hyundai offer and product competiveness and make proposals which balance incentive spend and profitability to deliver required sales volume. Not only will be cover a wide range of day to day responsibilities – looking at trends, providing insights but you must also be able to provide workable solutions which you will have the opportunity to present to senior management. Within this role you will be a key part in developing and deploying the quarterly sales campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed analysis of market and segment performance and trends, order take and finance penetration to shape future direction and strategy
- Analysis of the New Car market to identify trends and determine risks and opportunities within each sales channel
- Contribute to the development and sign off process of the sales campaigns and their ongoing communication internally and to the Dealer network including responding to any dealer queries
- Management of the Hyundai Affinity scheme which provides selected organisations access to preferential offers on new Hyundai cars
- Analysing order take and order bank trends and monitoring sales mix by channel and model trim compared to competitive basket
- Evaluating competitive transaction offers in each sales channel, to track competitiveness relative to basket
- Constantly monitor effectiveness of sales campaign in relation daily order take and order bank analysis to ensure effective dealer performance, suggesting initiatives to drive sales performance through campaign enhancements whenever necessary
- Tracking the model performance within segment and sales channel to plan on how to improve market position relative to competitors
- Defining product lifecycles in collaboration with the product team to ensure effective run out and new model launch strategies
- Creating finance strategies in conjunction with Hyundai Capital for each sales channel with clear monthly payment logic and price walks for additional product specification
- Monitoring campaign costs by offer to ensure achievement of budget and tracking contribution margin by version to ensure achievement of profitability target
- Working in conjunction with the marketing team to continually review product and offer message in the market place
Accountabilities:
- Timely campaign and tactical proposal sign off
- Ensure incentive spend per unit targets are achieved
- Ensure model profit contribution margin targets are achieved
- Ownership of the Affinity sales channel
Person Specification:
- Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
- Highly numerate with good PC skills and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to interpret data to form clear and well researched proposals
- Flexibility to adapt to a wide scope of activities
- Efficient and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Ideally candidates will have automotive experience
