We are now recruiting for a Product Manager who will provide overall management and accountability of the HMUK Accessory portfolio including alignment with new vehicle launches, localised development, sales support to the Hyundai Dealer Network and key supplier relationship building. 

 

Through P&L management, you will optimise and grow accessory sales to maximise margin, turnover, Customer satisfaction and Dealer profitability.  You will also provide local aftersales programme supplier management, programme analysis and life-cycle management through programme development, launch and review stages.
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Overall management of the Accessories P&L to deliver commercial performance targets, optimise penetration and maximise profit generation for HMUK and our Dealer Network
  • Alignment with the HMUK Product Management team throughout vehicle launch stages to ensure genuine accessory availability
  • Alignment with the HMUK Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing strategies and communication programmes to include direct, tactical and online channels
  • Management and development of e-commerce solutions to expand the accessory sales channels
  • Overall lifecycle management, including obsolescence based on vehicle age and product range
  • Localised accessory development and on-going product management through market research and dealer intelligence to maximise the HMUK offering
  • Ensure competitiveness and profitability through the provision of genuine Hyundai accessories by selection, negotiation and relationship management with external suppliers and distributors
  • Work directly with the Hyundai Dealer network to understand accessory sales and performance levels and influence change
  • Present back HMUK and Dealer performance to all key stake holders including Exec level, Group Directors, Dealer Principals, Sales and Aftersales teams
  • Production of both routine and ad-hoc reporting through intelligent reporting suites
  • Manage escalation processes where Dealer performance KPI’s are not met
  • Manage Hyundai Mobis regarding product supply, back-order, stock and forecasting requirements
  • Regular communication with Hyundai Mobis and Local Suppliers to continually improve the accessory portfolio.
     

About you:

 

 

  • Commercially astute with the ability to innovate, lead and take ownership of the business unit
  • Graduate with marketing or business specialisation and/or industry experience
  • Highly numerate, with advanced PC and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills; all levels from inception to completion
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, able communicate to all levels of management, dealers, customers and partners
  • Motivated, well organised, accurate and a good team player.
  • Works to deadlines under pressure.
