Technical Sales Engineer - Electrified Powertrains (m/f/d)
Summary:
Develop and advance the European Fuel Cell system business with your technical engineering expertise by promoting and supporting hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across Europe, ensuring technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
We want you to:
- Advance and promote Hyundai's HTWO fuel cell business in Europe by attending local events and associations to promote the brand
- Review technical and business feasibility of applying fuel cell system (analysis of package, control, required output, expected life, operation voltage, etc.) to customer applications
- Define and summarize engineering R&R between headquarters and partners
- Manage inquiries and requests from partner companies to stakeholders
- Research necessary laws and regulations for each major component application
- Provide customer technical support (system installation, commissioning support, maintenance and quality response)
- Monitor major customer applications, i.e., analyze data such as fuel cell system durability and driving patterns
- Secure and maintain emergency parts in advance for urgent needs
- Provide maintenance training (regular training / on-site training for new customers)
- Assist in the establishment of base operation plans, goal setting and reporting (related to short-term / mid- to long-term expansion plans, human resources, budget and general affairs)
- Support for activities at our major European bases (European regional headquarters, European Technology Research Center, Brussels office, etc.)
- Research and participate in the cooperation and funding projects at an European scale, e.g. in European Fuel cell System Standardization Consortium (StaSHH) and represent Hyundai Motor Company in working groups of industry associations such as Hydrogen Europe
- Assess fuel cell systems' conformity to local laws and regulations
About you:
- University Degree (Engineering degree or comparable qualification)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related position or specialization in fuel cell and/or Hydrogen system development and evaluation
- Alternatively 5+ years of automotive R&D experience, ideally in electric powertrain development and/or integration
- Fluency in English; any other language is an advantage
