Learning & Development Manager (m/f/d)

As a Regional Learning & Development Manager you will be focused on coordinating, organization and delivering a full range of Learning and Development activities in order to meet organizational needs and achieve goals. You will play a critical role in creating a culture of continuous learning and growth and setting up an innovative learning & development centre for Hyundai Motor Europe and its Sales Subsidiary offices in Europe Area.

We want you to:


Handle the implementation of employees’ development activities and development infrastructure needs:

  • Conceptualise, develop and implement a holistic learning ecosystem under the umbrella of ‘Regional Learning Center’ for Hyundai Motor Europe HQ and all Sales subsidiaries;
  • Programme design and delivery; full ownership of all aspects of the design, delivery and assessment of newly created regional development programmes and initiatives;
  • Be responsible for actualization of training curriculum and developing learning activities to support regional and global learning strategy and identifying effective delivery methods, sourcing external consultants, facilitation of training sessions, and assessment of results


Handle HR activities and program that offers high quality guidance and unique experience to employees to maintain and enhance organization efficiency:

  • Drive initiatives across the region to support the development of a Talent Development culture and establish quality standards for learning;
  • Manage learning needs assessment, review learning analytics and recommend training strategy in line with regional & global framework.


Cooperate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners for effective planning and mutual understanding:

  • Work in collaboration with Head of People Growth to ensure consistent delivery of programmes in line with global and regional learning strategy;
  • Be self-reliant to communicate and discuss with general management to promote the use of learning activities and to influence for buy-in.


Communicate and implement process, policies and systems in areas of responsibility and monitor their respect:

  • Promote the vision, purpose and strategy of Talent Development towards the region and sales markets;
  • Ensure that all market HR Managers are complying with quality standards for learning;
  • Manage the regional on-boarding programme for new joiners and ensure consistency across all markets. Implement new and creative brand experiences for new joiners. 


Handle the day to day collaboration and cooperation with external partners ensuring a positive experience with the brand and control the quality of delivery:

  • Coordinate relevant, readily available HME training content adaption to local context;
  • Support local HR Managers in the region to implement learning programmes to address local business needs. 

About you:


You are inspiring and result-oriented professional who is strongly motivated to work in a dynamic environment with change agenda. You are flexible, solution-oriented and able to deliver successful outcome in a field that is not yet formalized. You are focused on customer value and lead with vision with a business minded approach. You have strong presentation and communication skills and ability to inspire others. You have a proven track record of personally creating new, innovative and instructional L&D programmes, coupled with a strong analytical and problem solving attributes, and possess training delivery techniques to support a high growth organisation. 

You will also need to have:


  • University Degree in Business Administration, HR management, Psychology or related to organizational Learning & Development field
  • Min. 5 years of working with Learning & Development programs, tools and processes, preferably with prior experience in a larger international organisation
  • Proven track record within the Learning & Development area and high performance with exceptional results in actual role
  • Experience in setting and supporting implementation of strategies and driving results within the HR function
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and influencing skills 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with different levels of the organization and demonstrated experience building strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders
  • Successful project management experience with ability to solve complex issues and drive measurable results in a dynamic international environment
  • Deep passion for people development and interest in new trends, learning technologies and innovating learning solutions to empower employees’ and business results
  • Ability to create and spread learning and development awareness across the organization
  • Creativity with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage time
  • Ability to handle responsibilities independently and be self-reliable
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors learning management system would be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written), another European language is a plus
  • Proficiency in working with MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint)
