Market Intelligence Coordinator (m/f/d)

As a Marketing Intelligence Lead you will handle the day-to-day collaboration and cooperation with external partners ensuring a positive experience with the brand and control the quality of delivery; evaluate market, product and service enhancements and new opportunities based on market intelligence analysis; communicate and implement processes, policies and systems in areas of responsibility; cooperate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners for effective planning and mutual understanding.

We want you to:


Lead European market research projects to advise long-term product planning decisions:

  • Lead projects from pitch to final delivery stage (project planning and execution, controlling deliverables, reporting to senior management);
  • Be responsible for analysis and implications for products and services.


Manage European research projects as part of Hyundai’s global online consumer panel:

  • Liaise with other functions at Hyundai Motor Europe to determine research plan;
  • Research Design, as a service for other HME functions (identify research objectives, suggest respective methodology, develop of questionnaire) and support them in the analysis


Collaborate  with other functions to turn trend insights into actionable items and strategic recommendations (with a focus on Product-related functions) and develop the framework and tools (e.g. workshop frameworks, ideation frameworks) to come up with ideas for customer-centric features or services


Understand, analyze and report on key consumer and industry mega trends, and establish reporting plan and resources within Hyundai Motor Europe Market Intelligence accordingly:

  • Monitor data sources and scan for relevant insights;
  • Collect insights/data and report to key stakeholders with clear recommendations on action;
  • Plan reporting output of Market Intelligence team and define analysis and reporting tasks for Marketing Intelligence Analyst.


Lead target customer definition for new models in Europe and be responsible in Hyundai Motor Europe for collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company in terms of in-depth target customer study & concept research


Manage Hyundai’s ongoing participation in the New Car Buyer Survey (NCBS):

  • Liaise with stakeholders for Hyundai Motor Group and align on strategic decisions for NCBS;
  • Represent Hyundai Motor Europe within NCBS;
  • Be responsible for administrative tasks to keep NCBS running (contracting, invoicing).


Plan Market Intelligence budget allocation and track spending throughout the year

You will also need to have:


  • University Degree (Bachelor’s/MBA etc.) in related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in related position or specialization
  • Automotive industry background (start-up, technology also could be considered)
  • Strong focus on customer needs and ability to evaluate and analyze customer expectations and trends driven by market conditions 
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Self-motivation, genuine curiosity and openness for learning new things 
  • Flexibility, demonstrated attention to details and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally and build partnerships with multiple stakeholders from different backgrounds
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic diverse and agile environment with proactivity and taking initiative
  • Ability to think "out of the box"
  • Project management experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving  skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced knowledge of data management tools (e.g. Excel, PPT); knowledge of mTab, trend platforms, confluence will be an advantage
