Purpose of the Job

Conduct market research and analysis related to the company's services and products portfolio to produce information and intelligence used in sales and marketing strategy formulation. Apply marketing methodologies, gather data (including sales data) from diverse sources, monitor and evaluate market trends and activities, and make recommendations based on the findings, proposing possible business opportunities or marketing strategies that will improve the position and profitability of the organization.

Role Summary:

As Market Intelligence Coordinator (m/w/d), you will lead European market research projects that deliver actionable insights for Hyundai’s strategic and product decisions. You will manage research activities across multiple markets, analyze complex data, and translate findings into clear recommendations for senior management. Working at the intersection of research, innovation, and strategy, you’ll help shape Hyundai’s understanding of customer needs and future trends in the evolving automotive landscape.

We want you to:

  • Lead market research activities across Europe, from planning and RFPs to analysis and executive reporting.
  • Manage budgets, vendor selection, and project timelines for all market intelligence activities.
  • Conduct data analysis and create reports with actionable conclusions and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive long-term research on product innovation, customer perception, and new features in collaboration with global and regional teams.
  • Develop and manage customer feedback channels such as online communities, early buyer surveys, and consumer panels.
  • Support global market intelligence initiatives led by Hyundai Motor Company, providing timely feedback and local insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on BI-based tools for reporting, data visualization, and process optimization.
  • Support additional MI team activities including NCBS analysis, EV newsletters, and customer segmentation projects.

About you:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant pan-European experience in automotive market research or within a research agency.
  • Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (e.g. FGD, co-creation workshops, surveys).
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Qualtrics, and Medallia.
  • Hands-on experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
