Information & Data Governance Expert (m/f/d)
Role Summary:
As an Information & Data Governance Legal Expert, you will monitor data compliance processes, and conduct internal audits and checks for Hyundai and related subsidiaries. You will also support to establish Europe-wide standards to mitigate compliance risk related to information processing and responsible usage of data.
We want you to:
- Be responsible for gathering complete and accurate information from both internal stakeholders (relevant departments) and external ones (Hyundai subsidiaries) for assessment purposes
- Collaborate with the Information Security Management Team to monitor data compliance processes Europe-wide, including conducting internal audits and checks related to the area of Information & Data Governance
- Participate in inventory processes and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop proactive mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the establishment and updating of processes and policies within the realm of Information & Data Governance, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements
- Participate in defining contractual and organizational security measures, ensuring the protection of sensitive information
- Provide assistance in managing information security incidents and promptly resolving any issues that arise
- Work closely with the team leader and other department members to ensure seamless coordination and achievement of departmental objectives

You will also need to have:
- A university degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in data protection, compliance, information security, cybersecurity, and/or risk management
- Strong organizational abilities are essential to effectively manage data-related tasks and projects
- Strong understanding of business perspectives and needs to align information processing strategies with organizational goals
- Showcase strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning abilities to address complex data governance challenges
- Fluency in English language; any other language is an advantage
