Homologation Specialist (m/w/d)

Role Summary

As a Homologation Specialist (m/w/d), you will act as a Hyundai Innovator by executing complex administrative and technical tasks with a high degree of autonomy. In this role, you will support the regional coordination of the Group’s Certificate of Conformity (CoC) process, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple markets. With a strong emphasis on data validation and ad-hoc issue resolution, you will collaborate closely with national sales organizations across Europe and serve as a key communication link with our Korean headquarters. Your ability to consolidate information, manage cross-functional interactions, and uphold regulatory standards will directly contribute to our operational excellence in the region.

We want you to:

  • Coordinate workflows with internal teams and maintain effective communication with Korean headquarters and European national sales organizations

  • Perform data quality checks on Certificate of Conformity (CoC) source data using internal systems and tools

  • Collect, manage, and resolve homologation-related incidences through platforms such as JIRA, either independently or in collaboration with headquarters

  • Ensure timely support for Market Surveillance cases and other compliance-related matters

  • Keep internal tools such as Excel-based planners consistently updated to reflect the latest release progress and planning status

  • Organize and support homologation meetings, including agenda preparation, pre-meeting information supply, and presentation material creation

  • Maintain proactive communication and strong relationships with external partners and authorities (e.g., KBA) to ensure smooth certification processes

  • Support regulatory inquiries and contribute to early implementation of legal requirements for both current and upcoming vehicle products and services

About you:

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) with a technical background, ideally in engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in homologation, product planning, or a data-driven technical environment

  • High level of data accuracy and strong analytical capabilities, with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset

  • Proven ability to coordinate projects, manage resources, and deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Fast comprehension of complex technical topics, with entrepreneurial thinking and proactive problem-solving

  • Solid understanding of technical systems and interest in cross-functional automotive projects

  • Excellent communication skills in English; able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures

  • Genuine interest in automotive engineering and innovation-driven environments
