Role Summary:
As the Head of Mobility Service (m/w/d), you lead and scale Hyundai Connected Mobility’s European mobility business, owning strategy, P&L, and operations while empowering international teams and partners to deliver sustainable growth and an exceptional customer experience.
We want you to:
- Reporting to the Management Director of Hyundai Connected Mobility GmbH (HCM)
- Overall responsibility for the management and target achievement of the Mobility Service business of the Hyundai Connected Mobility GmbH
- Responsible and accountable for the HCM’s Mobility business P&L
- Perform and oversee the Mobility business strategic planning, sales, customer acquisition, e-commerce platform, vehicle sourcing, fleet planning/ management, operations, customer service, and vehicle de-fleeting
- Responsible for annual budget planning, regular mid-term planning, and monthly financial forecasting including revenue, costs, and profitability
- Direct leadership of all mobility employees in the Germany-based HQ and HCM’s subsidiaries in UK, Spain, France, and Italy
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines, regulatory compliance, and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and mobility business ethics
- Build trustful relations with all internal and external key partners, suppliers, stakeholders, and act as a point of contact to represent HCM’s Mobility business
- Solve operational problematic situations, customer and fleet incidents, and provide solutions to ensure company profitability and growth.
- Maintaining insights of both the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments, and standards
- Design and implement Mobility business strategies, plans and financial performance targets, and create weekly executive reports
- Define, optimize, and implement operational processes and procedures to mitigate risks and establish operational excellence across all countries operations
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of HCM’s Mobility team
About you:
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or comparable. MBA is a strong plus
- More than 10 years of experience in leadership roles in the mobility or automotive industry
- Proven track record as Business Unit lead or in similar managerial position overseeing cross-functional, international business operations
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
- Experience with diverse business functions including sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
- Knowledge of mobility and fleet management operations and its IT platforms
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
