Head of Compliance (m/f/d)

As a Head of Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations align with legal and regulatory requirements. Join our dynamic team and drive innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve our company's strategic objectives.

We want you to:

 

  • Oversee the collaboration and cooperation with external partners to ensure the creation of a positive experience with the brand and the monitoring of their effectiveness
  • Ensure effective cooperation and collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners for effective planning and mutual understanding
  • Constantly monitor changes in the legal environment and ensure activities and practices are compliant with laws and regulations a
  • Oversee the identification and development of efficient process, policies and systems in areas of responsibility
  • Provide input into Business Strategy considering current and future challenges
  • Implementation and management of a Compliance Management System –including a Data Protection Compliance System- for HME, GME and their European subsidiaries.
  • Monitor and evaluate the legislative framework of the company’s operations in order to evaluate the existing requirements, risks and obligations and implements (or monitors the implementation) new/revised policies and procedures based on the evaluation of the applicable legislative framework and the company’s operations. In particular, these entails:
  • Draft, review and implement compliance policies and procedures for HME, GME and their European subsidiaries
  • Prepare and deliver training to employees of HME, GME and their European Subsidiaries
  • Evaluate business activities in connection to compliance risks, in accordance to established control procedures
  • Manage the whistleblowing platform and carry out/coordinates compliance investigations

You will also need to have:

 

  • University Degree in Legal/Compliance
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a related position or specialization
  • Extensive experience in the compliance field, demonstrating proficiency in compliance management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successfully leading teams
  • Excellent organizational ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated loyalty, integrity, and reliability, maintaining confidentiality where required
  • Fluency in English language; any other language is an advantage
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications
