As a Compliance Counsel you will support the Compliance Department in developing, implementing and managing an effective Compliance System in Hyundai Motor Europe (HME), Genesis Motor Europe (GME) and their European Subsidiaries.

We want you to:

 

  • Draft, review and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures for HME, GME and their European Subsidiaries under the guidance of the Team Lead
  • Prepare and deliver training to employees of for HME, GME and their European Subsidiaries following indications of the Team Lead and Head of the Department
  • Contribute to the adequate implementation of the Compliance Management System at HME by evaluating business activities in connection to compliance risks, in accordance to established control procedures
  • Act as contact point for HME and GME subsidiaries regarding the implementation of the Compliance Management System across the different entities by supporting launch of policies, implementation of procedures and clarifying questions, and by monitoring the implementation of compliance minimum standards at the different entities
  • Act as contact point for management of the Compliance Platform (software), liaising to solve problems and monitoring the implementation of appropriate actions and adjustments to ensure an effective Compliance Management System
  • Support in the management of the whistleblowing platform and carry out compliance investigations

You will also need to have:

 

  • University Degree (Bachelor/MBA etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience either with the compliance department of a multinational organization or in the compliance team of a law firm
  • Knowledge of standard compliance legislation and regulations 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Loyalty and secrecy
  • Integrity and reliability
  • Ability to work in international fast-paced environment and collaborate with different teams
  • Very good command of English, knowledge of additional European language(s) preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite
