Logistics /OTD Specialist

About the job

As a Logistics/OTD Specialist, you will manage operational logistics and ensure outstanding Order to Delivery (OTD) performance. Your primary focus will be optimizing supply chain processes, supporting delivery commitments, and contributing to the company’s efficient and reliable logistics operations in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute daily logistics operations to ensure seamless supply chain processes, meeting OTD performance targets and high service standards.
  • Monitor supply levels and process customer orders to align with inventory targets and sales demands, supporting timely deliveries.
  • Support the Head of Planning and Business Development in implementing strategies and projects to enhance OTD efficiency and reliability.
  • Track and analyze OTD-related KPIs, reporting on performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional and global logistics teams to align local OTD operations with global standards and objectives.
  • Conduct regular analyses to identify bottlenecks in the OTD process, implementing improvements to optimize workflows and reduce lead times.
  • Develop and refine delivery forecasts in collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment processes.
  • Provide detailed reports and insights on logistics and OTD performance, using data to inform decision-making and support strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, company policies, and OTD best practices.
     

Required education, experience, and skills

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields; experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience coordinating and optimizing logistics operations, including OTD processes, order management, and supply monitoring.
  • Familiarity with KPIs and performance tracking in logistics and OTD workflows.
  • Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
