Job Purpose

 

To support Management of UK new vehicle supply to ensure sales volume and profit targets are achieved. The successful candidate will create run down and monthly production requirements by model. They will develop sensitivity tracking to calculate the percentage of monthly sales from opening dealer stock and the percentage of sales from monthly arrivals by model. They will track the volume of registrations and wholesales feasible in month based on the monthly rundown. The candidate will work with the Sales Campaign Analyst to align production and quarterly campaign offers. They will implement metrics to track the specification of vehicles that are built to order and using this information to influence the stock build configurations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • In conjunction with the Planning and Supply Manager, develop key supply and stocking strategies
  • Work Alongside Sales Campaign Analyst to overcome product constraints and align supply model and version to Campaign Phase offers
  • Manage the monthly dealer supply bulletin advising of percentage ordering mix by model and version and updates as to current backorders and production constraints
  • Support monitoring of sales campaign strategies in relation to achieving wholesale targets and advise of recommendations to continually improve
  • Working alongside the Supply Planning Manager to prepare monthly production order pack
  • Support Supply planning Manager run the monthly production order meetings
  • Support and work alongside Product and Planning team to ensure effective vehicle run out and new vehicle launch
  • Support Production Planning and Ordering meetings involving key stakeholders
  • Create Production rundown pack in advance of monthly production planning and ordering meeting and circulate to all attendees prior to the meeting
  • Support analysis of fastest selling versions  for each model and ensure adequate stock cover against  each version
  • Ensure sold order analysis enables effective tracking of sold cover by version and model, measuring order reach and preventing sold order backlog
  • Ensure that the monthly production orders are submitted to all HMC plants in a timely and accurate manner
  • Establish and highlight any potential future stock shortages and propose solutions to mitigate their effect
  • Work in cooperation with the Sales Campaign Analyst to design Phase campaigns to prevent sold order backlog, gear offers around the organisations’’ ability to supply
