We are now recruiting for a Direct Sales and TCO Manager who will be responsible for direct sales to rental partners and Police & Government fleets. The ideal candidate will manage and develop key stakeholder relationships with direct supply customers, Tilbury Import Centre and Convertors. We are looking for someone who can optimise and manage Product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:


Total Cost of Ownership


  • Manage performance of Hyundai and Genesis products against competitive basket models providing data analysis and commentary and actions to the Fleet Operations Manager, Head of Fleet and the wider business.
  • Manage the Hyundai SMR website to ensure all information is updated and relevant to be accessed by leasing companies.


Direct Sales


  • Single-point-of-contact for a portfolio of circa 80-90 national accounts including both Rental and Police/Fire Ambulance and Government organisations.
  • Maintain the quote to delivery supply chain process for all customers with emphasis on specialist blue light customer processes.
  • Complete and respond relevant tenders for the emergency services sector working with Blue Light Commercial organisation and the National Police Contract.
  • Build & manage relationships with key stakeholders (Customer, Lease Co, Convertor)
  • Outline and deliver appropriate contact strategy utilising the ROI CRM system to ensure full activation of these major accounts and appropriate volume/profit yield within the potential of the Police Contract conditions.
  • Ensure thorough qualification and ongoing knowledge of customer’s fleet policy and special vehicle requirements where applicable.
  • Ensure ongoing regular reviews are carried out with the customers and documented clearly on Salesforce CRM.
  • Management of activity and processes to generate business plan volumes/deliverables with named accounts.
  • Work closely with Customer Contact Centre on any direct sale customer VOR cases ensuring these are resolved swiftly.
  • Provide weekly forecast to Fleet Operations Manager for both registration and wholesale for current and future months.
  • Present vehicle funding methods and AFV/EV technology to support customers in their transition to a low carbon fleet.
  • To advise customers of the relevant options and cost saving equations / calculations and confidently present ideas and proposals to them.
  • Manage the ordering and operational aspects of direct supplied rental vehicles including updates of:
    • Customer in-fleet and de-fleet plans
    • Vehicle allocations
    • SAP contract processing
    • Forecasting of current and future volume
    • Liaising with Tilbury operations team on PDI requirements / completion of contractual volume
    • Ensure all contact volumes are maintained and not exceeded.

Personal Specification:


  • Demonstrable operational experience in fleet administration with knowledge of the rental and emergency services market

  • Highly numerate with good PC skills and intermediate Excel skills as a minimum
  • Flexibility to adapt to a wide scope of activities.
