At Hyundai and Genesis UK, our digital ecosystem is central to how we operate, supporting employees, retail locations, training centre, and our Tilbury port office. The SAP IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation, development, and ongoing optimisation of SAP systems across the business. This role involves managing a small team, delivering internal SAP training and support, and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine strong project leadership with the ability to align technical solutions to commercial objectives.

We want you to:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery to time, scope, and budget
• Work with the central (European and Korean teams) on the development and delivery of tailored SAP training to staff across various departments and skill levels
• Provide hands-on support to end-users, resolving SAP-related issues and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction
• Manage and support a small internal team, providing leadership, coaching, and development
• Act as a key liaison between Hyundai Motor Europe, Digital Transformation and Infrastructure, business stakeholders, and external partners to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing SAP processes and system usage, focusing on increased efficiency and alignment with best practices
• Champion change management and user adoption strategies during SAP rollouts and upgrades
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including training materials, system guides, and project reporting
• Support cross-functional collaboration, particularly with finance, supply chain, operations, and production teams
• Maintain an awareness of emerging SAP trends and opportunities relevant to the automotive sector

About You

• Proven experience managing SAP projects and systems, ideally within the UK automotive or manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of core SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, or WM
• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA and system integration
• Proficient in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile
• Demonstrable experience in delivering SAP training and providing effective end-user support
• Competent in using tools such as Jira, SharePoint, MS Project, or other project collaboration platforms
• Good understanding of GDPR and data governance principles in an SAP environment
• A relevant university degree and/or SAP certifications would be advantageous
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing and developing team members
• Ability to produce training content using modern e-learning or blended learning tools

Additional Requirements

• Working week – Monday to Friday core business hours
• Out of hours support cover may be required occasionally to support the needs of the business
• Occasional unsocial hours when implementing solutions
