Job Purpose
The Retail Marketing Specialist delivers brand and tactical marketing campaigns on behalf of the Hyundai retail network. Alongside the Retail Marketing Manager, you will work with our lead marketing agency and the retailer network to ensure that they have the right tools, assets and marketing insight to support them to deliver their sales forecasts in their territory.
This role will allow you to take full ownership of projects to deliver effective brand and marketing campaigns to the retail network which deliver positive results. To do so, you will work with key stakeholders at Hyundai to brief agency partners on our requirements, develop plans with the agency that supports the brief, and sign off activity with support from the wider team. You will then ensure that the activity achieves its objectives, optimising where possible and ensure reporting is accurate and insightful to ensure continuous improvement.
Ensuring the network have the right assets and tools to support them to promote and sell Hyundai vehicles is critical. You will support on the delivery of asset creation and creative management including brochures, campaign guides, advertising creative and point of sale to ensure all key customer touch points are brand compliant and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage creation and delivery of retail & fleet marketing campaigns to and for the Hyundai retail network.
- Campaigns you will work on include new model launches, tactical campaigns, quarterly campaigns which include media and creative propositions for the retail network to utilise.
- Assist in defining best practice and what is expected of the retail network to ensure commercial success.
- Work with the Retail Marketing Manager and core agencies to develop and implement yearly plans for the delivery of marketing campaigns to the UK Retailer network.
- Work with the network facing ‘Hyundai Retailer Marketing Services’ (HRMS) team by managing them to deliver all key projects, with the Retailer Marketing Manager.
- Develop a strong working relationship with key marketing contacts in the retailer network to support on local campaign development and delivery.
- Working closing with key stakeholders from across Hyundai Motor UK to deliver key product and tactical campaigns, building relationships with a proactive approach.
- Manage the digital product brochure programme by working closely with the product teams to ensure the Hyundai model range is communicated effectively.
- Managing the sizable annual retail marketing budget through raising purchase orders, processing invoices and reporting accordingly.
- With the support of the Retail Marketing Manager, manage the ongoing optimisation of the Retail Marketing Portal.
- Manage the Hyundai Events Service (HES) programme, which provides event support and assets to the retail network.
- Monitor and analyse automotive competitor brand and marketing activity, as well as best in class activity from other industries, and provide insights and suggestions that can enhance our own retail marketing, events activity and campaigns.
- Support the ongoing development and communication of the Hyundai brand guidelines, by being an advocate for brand consistency and compliance.
- Ensure retailer screen content and physical POS materials are up to date and in accordance with current guidelines.
