New Business Sales Manager

Role Summary:
Hyundai Motor UK / Genesis Motor UK (HMUK / GMUK) continues on its fleet journey and strategy to grow a sustainable fleet customer base in order to establish a sustainable 5% fleet market share. As part of this growth plan, we are looking for a new business sales professional to capitalise on the opportunity for Hyundai and Genesis through its ZEV product range. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Sales, you will quickly establish large national new business opportunities and work on actions to successfully position both brands on to End User customer Fleet policies and gain incremental fleet sales for HMUK/GMUK. In addition to this you will work with newly established Live Buying Customers for the first 3 months to establish satisfactory sales performance before handing the customer over to the Regional Corporate Sales Manager team to maximise the Yield from the account.
We want you to:
- To develop new End User Fleet Decision Maker and Leasing Company Account Manager relationships.
- To generate national new business within the fleet sector encompassing fleets predominantly running +150 car size fleets (as well as Salary Sacrifice) or where a potential for an immediate batch volume opportunity of 20 cars exists.
- To deliver sales volumes in line with personal and business objectives using existing business contacts, leads generated by ROI and leads from Leasing Companies.
- Work closely with the Head of Corporate Sales to develop a prospect hit list with agreed strategies and next actions.
- Work closely with the ROI team on generating suitable leads and appointments with the right calibre of prospect, in terms of their fleet requirements by prioritising raw data/prospects in the CRM.
- To manage and maximise new account sales by monitoring product positioning with customer car policies before handing over to the relevant Regional Corporate Sales Manager.
- Maintain and update prospect/customer account records on the CRM system.
- To qualify, determine and implement the appropriate commercial actions in terms of deal opportunities by presenting detailed bespoke proposals.
- Identify tender opportunities and complete and return HME tenders and RFQs and UK tenders working with the Head of Corporate Sales and Fleet Operations Manager.
- Feedback market knowledge and intelligence on industry legislation and competitor product that will help HMUK/GMUK to be commercially adept in the fleet sector.
Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership Calculations and Fleet policies.

- A commercial knowledge of fleet purchasing practices and deal requirements of the sector is essential.

- Strong and challenging individual with the ability to open doors and build new relationships in order to deliver sales objectives.
- Ability to deal confidently and professionally at all levels with retailer management and with business customers and funders.
- Fully conversant with all vehicle funding methods and their features and benefits.
- Fully conversant in HMRC BIK principles.
- Well-connected in the fleet industry, especially with major Lease Companies and the key influencers.
- Major accounts management experience.
- Able to produce and deliver professional presentations to Board level.
- Ability to travel nationwide dependant on the business opportunity.
