Long Description

We are now recruiting for a National Contract Hire & Leasing Manager who will Lead the strategic development and sales performance of Hyundai and Genesis products across all CHL channels. The ideal candidate will deliver Hyundai and Genesis monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit objectives in all CHL channels, develop and implement a CHL strategy that delivers Hyundai and Genesis CHL sales objectives in a sustainable and profitable way. We are looking for someone who can optimise with data the position of Hyundai and Genesis product RV, SMR costs and overall price, ensuring our products are always competitive whilst being able to provide market feedback and analysis to propose actions to manage risk and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for delivery of Hyundai and Genesis Brand sales objectives in CHL channels.
  • Work cross functionally within the organisation to ensure effective deployment of the CHL sales strategy. 
  • Work cross industry to ensure RV, TCO and SMR are optimised to support delivery of sales targets.
  • Ensure there is sufficient capacity and capability within the Hyundai and Genesis network to facilitate delivery of CHL volume plan.
  • Be the key point of contact and key relationship holder for our white label funders supporting Retailer CHL performance.
  • Create Retailer engagement programme to improve CHL performance.
  • Identify and develop programmes and initiatives to support Hyundai & Genesis deliver sales objectives.
  • Provide monthly KPI reporting on all aspect of performance both externally for Retailers/Sales teams and internal requirements.
  • Track order take versus target ensuring order take and order bank targets are met.
  • Recommend recovery / optimisation opportunities to balance risk and opportunity. 
  • Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders to leverage Hyundai and Genesis sales opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team comprising of two heads (Contract Hire Manager and Leasing Manager).

Person Specification

 

 

  • Minimum ten years’ experience of working in CHL environment and corporate sector.
  • Full understanding of vehicle funding methods and new/existing legislative frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of AFV products and connected vehicle implications and opportunities.
  • Highly numerate and comfortable working with data and market intelligence to inform and influence.
  • Experienced leader capable to motivate and drive high performance from a team.
  • Capable and confident at c-suite engagement and influencing.
  • Strong, challenging, and competitive individual with the drive to get results.
  • Ability to manage, adapt and optimise business processes and to support delivery of business plan.
  • Able to travel the UK to visit Retailers and national events.
  • Personable and able to build and maintain strong business relationships.
