Hyundai Motor UK continues to expand and develop its fleet activities for further sustainable growth and a target true fleet market share of 5% by 2025. As a result of continued success in securing of new business accounts, we require dynamic individual for the strategic management of National Major Corporate Accounts. These will be national 100+ car fleets where Hyundai has been granted a place on the customer’s car policy or salary sacrifice scheme and key focus is now required to manage these customers for maximum future yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Single-point-of-contact for a portfolio of circa 130 national fleet accounts.
- Build & manage solid relationships with key stakeholders (customer and lease co)
- Outline and deliver appropriate contact strategy to ensure full activation of these major accounts and appropriate volume/profit yield based on agreement conditions.
- Ensure thorough qualification and ongoing knowledge of customer’s fleet policy
- Ensure ongoing regular reviews are carried out with the customers to identify where Hyundai products sit in order to place our vehicles in the optimum positions.
- Manage major international accounts working with HME fleet team
- Manage timely response to any Hyundai Motor Europe RFP’s (Pan European Request for Pricing) that affect existing key accounts
- Management of activity and processes to generate business plan volumes/deliverables with named accounts including
- Ensure volume/profit delivery in-line with BP
- Provide weekly forecast to National Corporate Sales Manager / Fleet Operations Manager and support reporting requirement.
- Work with HMUK Product team and leasing company contacts on product Residual Value and Whole Life Cost (WLC) positioning ensuring key advantages and weaknesses are identified
- Where WLC strengths are identified ensure that suitable messages are articulated in the form of fleet communications and marketing tool development to use with key accounts
About you:
- Ability to travel nationally to any key meetings with customers/supply chain parties based on geography of key stakeholders
- A commercial knowledge of fleet purchasing practices and deal requirements of the sector is essential.
- A self-starter able to work on their own initiative and to develop and share new ideas.
- Strong, challenging and competitive individual with the drive to get results.
- Personable and able to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Ability to deal confidently and professionally at all levels with business customers and funders.
- Fully conversant with all vehicle funding methods and their features and benefits.
- Passionate about the brand and Hyundai products especially ULEV/EV technology
- Fully conversant in Inland Revenue BIK principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of the components within fleet polices and cost saving equations / calculations in order to confidently present ideas and proposals to customers
- Major account management experience.
- Able to produce and deliver professional presentations at Board level.
- Ability to personally develop and manage existing business and processes to support its successful introduction and on-going management.
