Job Purpose

 

The Franchise Project Coordinator will support the successful execution of franchise development projects across the Hyundai and Genesis representation in line with the HMUK network development and FBB strategy.  You will be part of a team that builds a more profitable, customer focused, future enabled Retailer network, supporting the process of appointment, termination and all strategy plans in line with legal, brand governance, compliance and best practice standards.

The role involves coordinating and driving projects through to completion and would be ideal for a detailed orientated individual who is experienced with project management and has a strong understanding of franchise operations, ideally in the automotive space.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume overall responsibility for the co-ordination of appointment and termination of retailers (including service points and authorised repairers) in the Hyundai and Genesis networks
  • Develop a detailed project plan to keep track of activity and progress. Plan, design, execute and monitor every aspect of the project, both as directed and independently, and in line with the HMUK representation strategy. Revise the project plan as necessary based on changing needs and requirements
  • Manage and maintain all related documentation
  • Ensure management, internal stakeholders and teams are kept informed of the project status via the project plan and status updates as required. Escalate issues to senior management as appropriate
  • Ensure that all strategies, plans, and actions are developed and implemented in line with legal and brand governance, compliance, and best practice standards 
  • Coordinate any internal departments, retailers and vendors involved in the activity detailed in the project plan. 
  • Provide support to and fulfilment of all agreed requests (e.g. reports; presentations; workflows; measurements etc) in relation to any aspect of HMUK retailer representation activities; outputs etc., from HMUK colleagues, HMC, HME and group affiliates 
  • Meet personal, team and departmental objectives, plans and targets as agreed 
  • Ensure an understanding and use of all relevant HMUK direct and partner provided systems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
     

Person Specification

  • Strong Project Coordination skills with the ability to actively manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders within automotive 
  • Enjoy a dynamic work environment and embrace/influence innovative ideas and change
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent time management skills, adaptable and ability to thrive in a fact paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office PowerPoint and Excel
  • A confident, articulate, diligent individual who is a good influencer, can build and maintain strong relationships and can work on their own initiative as well as be an integral member of a team
  • Ideally from Automotive industry, but this is not essential.
