Role Summary:

Driving the next generation of digital ecosystem within Hyundai and Genesis UK

As our Digital Transformation Manager, you’ll take on a pivotal role as the project lead responsible for ensuring the next generation of Hyundai and Genesis UK’s digital projects are deployed effectively. You will be comfortable translating technical concepts into commercial objectives and have a strong sense of adapting the wider business needs to the platforms and applications being developed across the business.

We want you to:

  • Provide leadership and manage the Digital Transformation Data Manager and Digital Transformation Engineer  
  • Work closely with the wider business, regional and central headquarters to align on business requirements
  • Coordinate, manage, deliver and support the commercial and technical needs and expectations from various teams and partners
  • Align project objectives with company goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives
  • Customer support after go-live
  • Define project scope and proactively manage changes in scope throughout the projects
  • Reviews the status reports of project team members and addresses issues as appropriate

About you:

  • Strong project management experience, especially in a technical role
  • Strong understanding of basic technical concepts (APIs, systems architecture, technical project management)
  • Consulting background/experience is a plus
  • Managing skills in terms of leading the e-commerce business and related projects
  • Experience in managing direct reports

 

Desirable Skills/Knowledge

  • University degree or equivalent education
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic and keen to learn
  • Experience of a busy customer service environment
  • Ability to multi-task whilst under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Natural problem solver with excellent analytical ability

 

Additional Information

  • Working week – Monday to Friday core business hours
  • Out of hours support cover may be required occasionally to support the needs of the business
  • Occasional unsocial hours when implementing solutions
