We are delighted to open a new vacancy for a Brand PR Press Officer who will support the Corporate Brand & PR Manager with the day-to-day operation of the Brand PR team focusing on building our earned Brand visibility beyond the usual automotive channels.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Aid the development of and distribute media information and assets related to all Hyundai Brand & CSR activities (including the Great British School Trip, Tate and Healthy Seas) to relevant media - including writing press releases, engaging with Influencers and facilitating the generation of all relevant assets (working with relevant agencies)
  • Proactively research and place stories with media and Influencers under the direction of Head of Section
  • Work closely with Head of Section, marketing department and agency on the development and delivery of impactful Brand PR campaigns – for example the innovative Hotel Hyundai and Village 2 Life campaigns
  • Be responsible for working with media monitoring agency Cision to improve overall department media measurement and reporting
  • Be responsible for delivering regular employee news updates (monthly)
  • Respond to incoming media enquiries and respond accurately and promptly
  • To professionally represent Hyundai Motor UK at both media drive events (where relevant) and brand activations (including CSV) both in the UK and abroad 
  • Be responsible for the organization for smaller brand-focussed media events and activities as well as having input into the organisation and logistics, as well as hosting media, at larger media events (working in conjunction with Product PR team)
  • Be responsible for the invitation and attendance of media to all brand related events and activities working with the PR coordinator to manage travel arrangements
  • Ensure all relevant media information is shared across all relevant channels inc. Hyundai UK Newsroom
  • Work with Product PR counterpart & PR Coordinator to book press fleet vehicles for events or non-automotive/influencer media appraisal
  • Develop strong working relationships internally as well as within the broader global business and work cross-functionally with Product PR team as well as other departments across the UK business
  • Help maintain relationships between Hyundai and some of the most influential outlets across the UK as well as helping to establish new relationships
  • Support the Brand & PR Manager on matters where required
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in AI, measurement and best-practice brand activations and be empowered to put forward creative ideas
