Job Description

Purpose of the Job

Generate information to be used in inventory management of various items and volumes of materials. Rely on surveys of consumption data, the available stocks, and planning of the activities to generate information, targeting the analysis of materials turnover and the enhanced planning of purchases and stocks needed.

Role Summary:

As Fleet Planner, within Hyundai Connected Mobility France your role will involve strategic vehicle sourcing, maintenance scheduling, and efficient route planning to enhance fleet operations. You will establish and manage relationships with insurance and road assistance partners, ensuring seamless logistic and operational flows. Your responsibilities will span from coordinating drivers and maintenance staff to tracking budgets, evaluating fleet progress, and implementing cost-effective strategies to optimize efficiency and drive the overall value of the fleet.

We want you to:

  • Purchasing and sourcing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet
  • Development and Management of insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Negotiate and maintain the relationship with road assistance partners
  • Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles
  • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
  • Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules
  • Ensure smooth procedures of vehicles sourcing, logistic and operational flows
  • Coordinating Drivers and maintenance professionals 
  • Managing vehicle licensing and registration
  • Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress
  • Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
  • Responsible for the overall condition of the fleet, insurance claims and value 
  • Manage invoicing costs to ensure consistency and accuracy

About you:

  • Degree qualified with at least 3 years of experience as a fleet specialist or fleet planner in a rental or mobility company
  • Demonstrated planning and monitoring skills
  • Familiarity with transportation scheduling and fleet management software
  • Knowledge of the UK automotive regulative framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of RV management 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
