We are now recruiting for an Incentive & Contribution Margin Manager who will be responsible for managing incentives and devise sales programmes across all sales channels.  You will optimise NCM by  designing sales programmes to achieve volume and profit objectives by sales channel.  You will steer the volume decisions by channel to minimise overall incentive cost and maximise NCM and manage the incentive and contribution margin team to optimise HMUK profitability.  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and delivery of Quarterly Sales Campaigns to achieve New Vehicle Sales volume and contribution margin.
  • Work in close collaboration with product team, Sales Planning and Finance to manage incentive costs across all sales channels, in order to optimise volume and contribution margin. 
  • Use price & volume elasticity models to determine volume and profit scenarios to ensure volume and market share targets can be met with the highest contribution margin.
  • Work in close collaboration with the planning and ordering team for new car supply, ensuring quarterly campaigns and production requests are aligned
  • Manage day to day relationships with Hyundai Capital to ensure delivery of core business requirements.
  • Business owner for Motability channel to devise quarterly offers to achieve business goals.
  • Set strategy for overall incentive and contribution margin function to ensure team deliver against departmental objectives.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the incentive team to deliver high performance.
  • Analysis of the New Car market to identify trends and determine risks and opportunities within each sales channel.
  • Analysis of Sales Funnel data to measure campaign effectiveness through web metrics, determining; web visits to brand or offer page, vehicle configurations, finance calculations, finance proposals and named leads.
  • Evaluating competitive transaction offers in each sales channel, to track competitiveness relative to basket.
  • Creating strategies for each sales channel with price competitiveness logic to achieve volume and share objectives. 
  • Tracking campaign costs by offer to ensure achievement of budget and tracking contribution margin by version to ensure achievement of profitability target.
  • Development of bespoke tactical campaigns to counter specific business priorities e.g. aged stock campaigns.
  • Work with fleet team to develop tools to monitor fleet sub-channel performance, managing spend within agreed budgets and optimising profitability.
  • Management of AutoFutura finance renewals system to identify opportunities and create campaigns to improve customer loyalty.
  • Research and develop proposals for new customer offers products e.g. finance, insurance and servicing products.
  • Support monthly/quarterly reporting requirements for Hyundai Motor Europe review meetings.
  • Working in conjunction with the marketing team to continually review product and offer message in the market place
  • Manage the development and sign off process of the Sales quarterly campaigns, communicating appropriately both internally and to the Dealer network.
  • Manage evaluation of sign off of quarterly Motability programme to ensure accurate submission within agreed timeframes.
  • Constantly monitor effectiveness of sales campaign strategies in relation daily order take and orderbank analysis to ensure effective dealer performance, suggesting initiatives to drive sales performance through campaign overlays whenever necessary
  • Support and work alongside Product Team to ensure effective new vehicle and special edition launches

Accountability:

 

  • Ensure incentive spend per unit targets are achieved 
  • Ensure model profit contribution margin targets are achieved 
  • Complete campaign sign off for each phase by the end of the second month in the proceeding phase. 
  • Hold monthly Campaign Planning meetings involving key stakeholders including Executive board. 
  • Create Market Planning pack in advance of monthly Campaign Planning meeting and circulate to all attendees prior to the meeting
  • Ensure that the reporting targets for internal and external reports relating to the incentive function are achieved by the Incentive Analyst.
  • Ensure sales programmes deliver against core business KPI’s set in the annual business plan.
