IT Specialist

About the job

As an IT Specialist at Hyundai Motor Sweden, you will act as an important part of the IT team and support the entire organization with coordination, administration and IT planning. In this role you will manage a lot of different stakeholders and you should have a collaborative and service minded focus. This position is located in Stockholm and will report to the Head of IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, allocate resources effectively, and ensure team members have the tools and support they need.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure that projects are completed within financial parameters.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and project goals.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, senior management, and project teams on project progress, risks, and issues.
     

Required education, experience, knowledge and skills

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a multinational or cross-functional environment. 
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in technology, manufacturing, or other relevant industries with a global or pan-European scope.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders across different countries or regions.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards across the EU. 
  • In-depth knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
  • Proficiency with project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of risk management processes and best practices.
