Job Description

Role Summary:

Managing the IT department and implementing IT policies and systems that support the company’s strategic goals, in cooperation with the headquarters. Leading the IT team and technology projects, ensuring data security and operational efficiency.

We want you to:

  • Define and implement IT policies and systems together with HQ to support the strategic goals set by Management Board and manage IT employees to support achievement of those strategic goals
  • Oversee all IT Areas (IT Infrastructure, IT Support, IT Business Systems, IT Security) and evaluate them according to global  goals and schedules.
  • Leading IT projects - from gathering requirements, through analysis, and finding suitable suppliers or tool, to the implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Leading projects from IT perspective and business partnering in all activities related to digital customer experience transformation, including internal Hyundai business systems & applications
  • Manage external Vendors to support the strategic goals set by Mgmt Board and assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient and strategic contracts.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
  • Control budget and report on expenditure.
  • Reporting to the Board and cooperation with the ABI in the processing of personal data (GIODO).
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and training. Providing their annual assessment, implement development plans or corrective plans if necessary
  • Secure and provide high level IT services for internal customers.

About you:

  • Min 4 years of the experience in managerial position in IT
  • Experience in working with a helpdesk team, including computer hardware inventory, and managing end-user requests
  • Collaborating with developer teams, working with agile methodologies, maintaining the backlog, and writing up tasks based on delivery times and execution technologies
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in cybersecurity solutions
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience with BI tools is welcome
  • Fluent English and fluent Polish (must-have)
  • Strong communication skills, and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
  • Experience in managing IT projects independently, and working with external and internal teams
