About the job:
The job mission of this role as Head of Retail Channel Development is to drive various projects in the retail channel development department and be involved in the work to develop our network of Hyundai sales and service networks in Sweden. The daily work is together with colleagues in the department and with the other departments in our Swedish organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Retail Channel Development team and various RCD topics to enhance HMS sales and service networks
- Network development, facility enhancement, IT system management, training, customer survey, etc.,
- Development and implement mid-/long-term strategic directions for the sales network transformation
- Manage the 3rd party vendor relationship and its contractual term: IT system provider, training, site development, etc.,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, customer experience, and IT to enhance overall retail channel development work process and manage sales and service networks
- Monitor and analyse sales network performance metrics, providing actionable insights and strategic guideline
- Identify and develop opportunities for new network expansion, agent performance, and network enhancement
- Act as a central communication link for the sales and service networks, fostering strong and collaborative relationships.
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai corporate brand, operational and legal standard across all retail and service networks
- Serve as a key liaison between the European headquarters and the network partners; provide a regular status update
Required education, experience, and skills:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Automotive retail business, dealer development, or a relevant field
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, economy, or a related field
- Proven track record in leading strategic retail/dealer network development initiatives and managing dealer network
- Experience leading retail expansion or transformation projects in Sweden or the Nordics
- Deep understanding of the automotive retail environment, including franchise/dealer operations
- Familiarity with EV market dynamics, consumer behavior, and digital sales technologies.
