We want you to:
The job mission of this role as Head of Retail Channel Development is to drive various projects in the retail channel development department and be involved in the work to develop our network of Hyundai sales and service networks in Sweden. The daily work is together with colleagues in the department and with the other departments in our Swedish organization. You will lead and manage the Retail Channel Development (RCD) team across all core areas: network development, facility enhancement, IT systems, training, customer surveys, and more.
- Define and implement mid- to long-term strategies for retail sales network transformation
- Act as the key contact for external partners (IT providers, training vendors, site developers), managing contracts and performance
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and IT to improve end-to-end RCD processes
- Monitor and analyse sales and service network performance, providing strategic insights and direction
- Identify opportunities for network expansion, drive agent performance, and improve the quality of our partner network
- Serve as the communication hub between Hyundai’s European headquarters and the local networks
- Ensure full compliance with Hyundai’s brand, legal, and operational standards across all retail and service touchpoints
About you:
- 7–10+ years’ experience in automotive retail, dealer development, or related fields
- Degree in business, marketing, economics, or similar
- Proven success in leading retail network strategies and dealer operations
- Experience with retail expansion or transformation in Sweden/Nordics
- Strong knowledge of dealer/franchise models and Swedish regulations
- Familiar with EV market, digital sales tech, and consumer trends
- Background with premium or electric brands; digital or hybrid retail formats a plus
- Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven under pressure
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
