Role Summary:

As the Head of Finance at Hyundai Motor Sweden, you will lead a team of 6-7 to manage all financial operations, including strategic planning, controlling, and compliance. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure accurate reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and drive business performance through effective financial oversight.

We want you to:

• Act as a key business partner to the CFO and executive leadership, translating financial data into actionable strategic insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Spearhead the budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning processes, ensuring robust variance analysis and cost control measures are in place across the organization.
• Oversee end-to-end financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6-7 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
• Direct internal and external audit processes, maintain strong internal controls, and manage enterprise risk to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow management and working capital optimization to ensure the company maintains a healthy financial position.
• Champion the continuous improvement and digitalization of financial processes and systems to enhance data integrity and reporting speed.

About you:

• You possess significant experience serving as a Head of Finance within the automotive industry, specifically at another OEM.
• You have a deep background in Controlling, having served at least as a Controlling Manager within an OEM environment.
• You bring tangible Audit experience, with a strong command of compliance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• You have successfully managed financial operations within the automotive industry, understanding the specific nuances of the sector.
• You have experience adapting financial strategies in other complex industries outside of automotive, demonstrating versatility in different business contexts.
• You are a proven people leader with a track record of successfully managing and upskilling teams of 5+ finance professionals.
• You possess exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial narratives to the C-suite and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
