Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Manager to join our team at HMSK. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the HR function, ensuring the smooth operation of HR services, and contributing to a positive employee experience. This position, reporting to the Finance & HR Director, will focus on recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance with labour laws and corporate policies & programs.

We want you to:

 Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Manage the recruitment process in collaboration with the European Headquarter T&A dept., including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

- Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.

- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed.

- Foster a positive work environment and addressing employee relations issues promptly and professionally.

HR Administration

- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

- Prepare and process HR documentation such as employment contracts, offer letters, terminations, and disciplinary actions.

- Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data to the finance team.

- Support General Affairs duties (Company Cars – Immigration & Visa Management (in cooperation with external agency)

Compliance & Policies

- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.

- Coordinate the Compliance and GDPR agenda locally

- Assist in implementing and updating HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate HQ standards.

- Coordinate health, safety, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Training & Development:

- Support the implementation of Regional training programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.

- Coordinate employee performance reviews in accordance with the Regional HQ Standards and assist in identifying opportunities for development and growth.

HR Metrics & Reporting

- Assist with data collection and reporting for compliance audits and management reviews.

General affairs agenda

- Managing back-office activities.

About you:

  • Education:
    • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Personality traits:
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, intercultural environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors is a plus), Microsoft Office
    • Fluency in Slovak & English (C1)
