This is a newly created role which offers a hands-on opportunity to help shape all HMUK digital platforms, CRM implementation, data management and overall data integrity, and thus take the organisation to the next level of customer experience and business growth. The Digital and Email Marketing Coordinator will be a pivotal member of the team working across the organisation to deliver a best-in-class digital experience for our customers to drive conversion and increase customer retention.

 

The purpose of this role is to drive the development of HMUK’s digital customer experience including key platforms, end-to-end sales CRM and lead management and reporting. The primary objectives of this role are to boost customer engagement, optimise customer experience and increase conversion, as well as contributing to the retention of our customers. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Project manage website updates (including product launches) - Ensure that all website updates and product launches happen on time and within budget. 
  • Project manager digital platform initiatives – Work with internal and external stakeholders on scoping and launching new or updated digital platforms
  • Be the digital asset guardian of Hyundai - Be the go-to person for any internal and external stakeholders in relation to all digital assets (e.g. national and dealer website, ecommerce platforms and affiliate websites). Actively improve these assets so they offer the most effective and customer-centric digital experience.
  • Coordinate the holistic CRM programme requirements – Work with internal stakeholders and agencies to ensure all the CRM programme pillars (tactical, nurture, trigger) are operating effectively. This involves designing and managing creative briefs, copy and asset proofing, and eDM calendar as well as agency management
  • Analyse CRM performance - Understand Hyundai’s brand and commercial objectives and track the performance and ROI of our CRM programme against these KPIs. Work with the Digital & Customer Data Manager to evaluate successes and arrive at key recommendations. 
  • Support the Digital & Data Marketing Manager across all digital activities. Proactively work with internal stakeholders (Product, Sales, PR, Aftersales, Brand Experience, Hyundai Capital and Dealer teams) and agencies to align activity performance and ensure the business is driving maximum consumer engagement across all digital channels. 
  • Proactively investigate new digital ideas for the business. Monitor competitive promotions and events to ensure Hyundai is embracing the latest industry trends and opportunities. 
  • Monitor and report on all inbound enquiries 
     

About you:

 

 

  • 2+ years of working with web agencies
  • Can clearly translate business requirements into technical briefs
  • Experience briefing and executing CRM campaigns (including HTML)
  • Experience managing CRM campaigns, calendars and agencies
  • Good understanding of what makes a CRM campaign successful 
  • Excited by and with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Thrives in fast-paced work environments with an ability to pivot quickly with moving priorities 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise 
  • Ambitious, with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to find innovative solutions to challenges
  • A positive track record of solving business challenges using data
  • Highly competent user of Excel and data analysis
  • Passion for cars, tech and innovation 
  • A confident communicator who can present data to multiple stakeholders and build relationships outside of their immediate team
