Digital Transformation Data Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Digital Transformation Data Manager to provide maternity cover within the Digital
Transformation and Infrastructure department.

This role combines project management experience with deep technical ownership of enterprise data and analytics systems. It involves leading enterprise data and analytics initiatives, overseeing the Sisense BI platform, designing complex data models, and coordinating integrations with core business systems such as SAP, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data reliability, continuous improvement, and the adoption of digital solutions.

We want you to:

1. Data & Analytics Platform Ownership (Primary Scope)

• Own and architect the Sisense BI platform end-to-end, covering system configuration, data modelling, performance optimisation, and enterprise-level governance. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of BI infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and high data quality across the organisation.
• Design and maintain complex data models spanning multiple business domains (Sales, Orders, Finance, Operation, Marketing, Market).
• Develop and implement data transformation logic within SAP, enabling automated calculation and structured data preparation for BI analysis.
• Configure and manage data pipelines and data models to ensure efficient processing and platform performance.
• Act as platform architect, defining key business metrics, hierarchies, and relationships across datasets.
• Drive BI adoption and enablement through training, documentation, and best-practice guidance to businesses.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Internal users, external vendors and Sisense support for system optimization.

2. Cross-System Integration & External Collaboration (Secondary Scope)

• Manage integration and data synchronisation across SAP, Dealer Portal, ServiceNow and other business applications.
• Collaborate with external partners and data providers to support system integration, new data feeds, and enhancement projects.
• Evaluate and contribute to digital transformation and automation initiatives, aligning solutions with organisational objectives.
• Maintain clear documentation, governance, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Support month-end closing and other operational processes by ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Lead or participate in BI tool migration and modernization projects.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, data analytics, or enterprise platform ownership.
• Hands-on experience managing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Sisense) and migration or implementation projects, with prior Sisense experience considered critical
• Proficiency in data modelling, SQL, and ETL pipeline management, including integration with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Experience managing external vendors, data service providers, or global implementation partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to data integrity, scalability, and system optimization.

• Very strong understanding of basic technical concepts (APIs, systems architecture, technical project management)
• Project management experience in a digital (web/app) environment
• Consulting background/experience is a plus
• Good skills and knowledge of systems such as ERP/SAP/SQL/CRM-Salesforce.com/Tableau/Sisense
• Managing skills in terms of leading the E-commerce business and related projects

• Working week – Monday to Friday core business hours
• Out of hours support cover may be required occasionally to support the needs of the business
• Occasional unsocial hours when implementing solutions
